The last two years have not been easy for any business—but especially for the Great American Small Business. Many have struggled with lower profit margins, slower paying customers, scared vendors, fragile banking relationships, customers going out of business, and the resulting cultural & de-motivational consequences.
Yet it is those same businesses that are left most uncertain in tough economic cycles. Small businesses don’t enjoy huge profit margins or government bail outs. While our government works to find ways to help the small business with low interest loans and other programs, the urgency is simply too great. At MyOffice we support local, small vendors when we can for that reason—because we know when we buy from a small business; we are supporting their payroll, their benefit structure, there vendors and partners, and even helping to pay their lease. With that said, however, we only hire the best—and we don’t expect our customers to do any less.
This news comes as a blow to many in the San Diego business community. It is a harsh reminder of the reality of today’s economy, and more importantly, we feel deeply for the men & women left in the cold.
As a fellow small business, we decided to help. We’ve hired TelData employees, and have stepped in to assist former customers left with partially finished projects.
A driving tenet within MyOffice culture is doing the right thing—by clients,
colleagues, and each other. So, if you worked at or were a client of TelData and are feeling left in the cold, contact us at (858) 549-6700 or gabrielle.felix@4myoffice.com.
