On Friday January 29, MyOffice and Cushman & Wakefield partnered to successfully raise over $4,000 for the Adaptive Sports Foundation at the First Annual “Two ball Scramble” Charity Golf Tournament.
For the inaugural event, MyOffice chose an organization close to employees' hearts--the Adaptive Sports Foundation of San Diego. MyOffice employees who volunteer with the foundation became aware it was running out of money, and might not make it through 2010.
According to MyOffice President, Shaun Alger, "We had a great turnout and it was amazing to support the Adaptive Sports Foundation with the event." He added that MyOffice is looking forward to sponsoring the event again in 2011.
The event drew close to 75 attendees—and the money raised will help the foundation continue operations through 2010.
Jeremy Dent of Pacific Realty and Jimmy Harris of Dwyer-Curlett & Co. were the big winners of the day. Event sponsors included Cushman & Wakefield, Office Planit, HeadNorth, NCE Computer Group, Elevator Marketing Store, MFC Office Furniture, Business Interiors by Staples, OM Workspace, and CCY—each of whom contributed prizes and money toward the event.
MyOffice will host the event again in 2011—so stay tuned or email Kelly@4myoffice.com to put in an early request for information.
