Project Scope: Teardown, transport & rebuild of 250 workstations along with all building contents, electronics & warehouse items and install new Voice & Data cabling in the new facility.Schedule: The cabling project was a two week project, the relocation and furniture project was a completed over one weekend.
Critical Business Issue: Having the flexibility on the cabling requirements to adjust to last minute changes, consulting & design on cabling infrastructure while still hitting our deadline. On the relocation project, how to plan & execute the project in a three day window ensuring all staff members would be at their desk, with all of their items on Monday morning ready to work.
Capabilities: MyOffice provided Consulting & Project Management services throughout the duration of this project. When we initially became involved in the project, the customer had been told it could not be done in one weekend and was planning on breaking down the relocation into seven phases. We were able to provide a project plan and the necessary staffing & equipment to move all contents out of the way, teardown the appropriate parts, transport them to the new site and install them in an organized efficient manner. Since we were the movers, installers and cabling vendor, the MyOffice team worked in unison to execute the project in a smooth flow which enabled each group to sweep through the building effectively. We also handled the warehouse move which included teardown & reinstall of all pallet racking. Due to a changing business environment during their move, it was necessary to make many changes to the cabling infrastructure, MyOffice was able to assist with the solutions and adapt to the updated schedule requirements as needed.
